Wrexham General Station
Wrexham General station is just 3 minutes walk from the busy town centre and its charming old streets, arcades and markets. In fact the Monday market is the largest in North Wales.

Wrexham town lies in Welsh Border Country, nestled in the lower Dee Valley between the lush Cheshire plains of England and the hills of Wales, surrounded by glorious countryside.
Wrexham General is the main railway station serving Wrexham and North-East Wales, it is just 3 minutes walk from the town centre and the main bus station.
Wrexham General Railway Station was opened in 1846 and since then there have been two railway station buildings on the site; the original building was in a Jacobean style with Dutch gable pediments, the second station building was constructed in 1912 with a French Pavilion design, including ornate cresting on the roof towers, this was unique in that it used stonework from the original building instead of standard red brick.
