Telford Central railway station serves the new town of Telford. The station is a short walk from the town's shopping and business centre.

Telford station offers easy asses to Ironbridge and Bridgnorth with regular bus services. Ironbridge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (which covers the wider Ironbridge Gorge area) and has become a major tourist attraction within Shropshire.
