You can reserve a seat on any of our trains, on any day, and your seat reservation is always completely free.

Advance tickets – which are for a specific train on a specific day – automatically include a free seat reservation, which is made at the time of booking.

For Open and Saver tickets it’s optional whether you reserve a seat or not. You can always reserve your seat after your booking, when you have a firmer idea what your travel plans are. Just contact our Customer Services team to do this.

If you reserve a seat and then, as a result of changing your travel plans, realise that you no longer need that seat reservation, please let us know and we'll change it for you.
